Are these the actual PSLE papers?

No — and neither is anything else advertised that way. SEAB does not release PSLE papers to the public. What everyone means by "PSLE papers" is school prelim and semestral papers, which are written by primary school teachers to PSLE standard and are the closest available equivalent. That is what this library holds.

Downloading is the easy part

A PDF gives your child a paper. It does not tell you which marks were lost or why, and it leaves you marking Maths working at ten at night.

Some of these same papers can be sat online instead: your child answers on screen, it is marked the moment they submit, and every wrong answer comes with the working behind it and the reason the tempting option was wrong. Mistakes are collected in one place to return to. See what that costs →

Getting more out of a downloaded paper

  • Sit it timed, in one go, with no help — an untimed paper measures nothing useful.
  • Mark it strictly, then sort each lost mark: did not know it · misread it · ran out of time · wrote it badly.
  • Re-test the same questions a week later. Fresh papers feel like progress; re-testing produces it.
