P6 prelim papers 2026

Schools are sitting them right now. Here is when the 2026 papers appear, and what a P6 family should practise with in the meantime.

Every September, parents search for the current year's prelim papers — and every September the honest answer is the same: schools have only just sat them. The 2026 prelims are being taken in August and September; the papers circulate after the schools release them, mostly from late September onwards.

When the 2026 papers arrive here

We are collecting the 2026 prelim papers from the top schools now, as they are released, and adding them through September and October. Two things about how we do it:

  • Already a member? The 2026 papers are added to your modules free — every subject you have, no top-up.
  • Joining now? Same deal: S$60 a subject buys the current set with the 2026 prelims included as they land. After the 2026 set is complete, the price rises.

Fair warning about "2026 prelim papers" downloads you may see elsewhere: before late September, anything labelled a 2026 prelim is at best a school's own early WA paper and at worst last year's paper relabelled. Schools do not release prelim papers before their pupils have sat them.

What to practise with today

With the PSLE written papers on 24–30 September, waiting for 2026 papers is the wrong move — by the time they circulate widely, the PSLE is done. The right material now is the 2025 prelim set: the same schools, the same setters, the same standard, one year earlier.

You have two ways to use them:

  • Free: download the PDFs — 1,364 past-year papers from 28 schools, 2021–2025, no sign-up. Browse the library →
  • Marked for you: the same top-school prelims online, auto-marked the moment your child submits, with the working behind every answer. From S$60 a subject →

P5 families: the 2026 set is really for you

By the time the 2026 prelim papers are fully collected, this year's P6s will have finished the PSLE. The families who get a full year's value from the 2026 set are the ones whose child sits the PSLE in 2027 — which is why joining at S$60 before the set completes is the best-value moment in the cycle.

The 2026 dates that matter meanwhile

Oral was 12–13 August. Listening Comprehension is 15 September, written papers 24–30 September. The full 2026 timetable → — and if you are planning the last weeks, the preparation guide covers what is worth revising this close to the exam.

Common questions

When will the 2026 P6 prelim papers be available?

Schools sit prelims in August and September 2026 and release papers afterwards; they circulate mostly from late September onwards. We add them to every module free as they are released, through September and October.

Can I download 2026 prelim papers now?

Not genuinely — schools do not release prelim papers before their pupils sit them. Anything offered as a 2026 prelim before late September is almost certainly an earlier assessment or a relabelled older paper. The 2025 set is the right practice material today.

Do I pay extra for the 2026 papers?

No. They are added free to every subject module, for existing members and new joiners alike. The per-subject price rises only after the 2026 set is complete.

Which papers should my child use before the PSLE this month?

The 2025 prelim papers — same schools and standard, one year earlier. All are free to download as PDFs, or can be sat online with instant marking and explanations.
